the yearly tradition

Ok, worsttttt blogger ever!  I guess I've been MIA since September. Forgive me!!  It's honestly been the last thing on my mind.  I've just been enjoying my maternity leave with my (not so little anymore) baby.   I'm sure I'll get back into it more soon! :)

Anyway, the Distillery District.  If you've been following me for a while you know that my husband and I love it there.  We've already been twice this year. Don't judge! And it wouldn't surprise me if we made it back one more time before Christmas.  We LOVE Christmas (aka we are the kind of people that listen to Christmas music 24/7 when they start playing it on the radio. I literally jumped for joy at the first song) and doing all our little traditions is what makes this season so special to us.  I can only hope to visit other Christmas Markets in different countries (ahem, Germany!).  It's totally on my bucket list….

the view from my galaxy [august.2015]

Aaaaaaannnd summer's over. I can't say that I'm sad since for me, summer is just another season like fall or winter and doesn't always necessarily go hand in hand with "vacation".  That being said, I'm looking forward to the crisp, cooler temperatures of the fall, the changing leaves, plus all the exciting activities like apple picking, pumpkin patching and everything leading up to Christmas (Yes, I just mentioned Christmas).  Although the snow can hold off as far as I'm concerned!

Anywho, here's a roundup of photos from my Instagram (@fromdianetoyou) from the month of August…all including my friend's bridal shower, Georgie's adventures on the park swing, harbourfront wanderings, a few #tbt's, randoms around the house, and taking Georgie to a farm for the first time.

So to those heading back to school or with littles starting a new year, good luck! Have a great school year! :)

say cheese!

Ok, don't call CAS on me… I put my child in a crate and took some pictures.  And he loved it, strange child that he is!  I figured I had to do it before he didn't fit in it anymore…. although I could always buy a bigger crate, no? ;)

Hope you all have a lovely week!
