holy snow, Batman!

It's about time we've had somewhat of a substantial snowfall! And considering that I'm at home all comfy and warm, and not on the roads, I'm loving it.... until tomorrow morning!!
Here's more photos from my walk last weekend.....

Can't wait for the weekend!! Hope you all have some awesome plans!!! :)

p.s. the "oreo" cookies in the 3rd picture are from a little store called Delica (near Yonge and St.Clair), and they are amazing!

can you see it?

I always love finding random graffiti while wandering around. This particular piece is located at the top of Sacre Coeur in Paris. And I especially love the meaning behind it.....

frozen toes and nose

I went for a walk through a little ravine near my house yesterday. There were so many people there, saying hello when you walk by (which totally doesn't happen in the city), kids tobogganing down hills, dogs wearing sweaters, and families out enjoying a saturday afternoon. As nice as it was, and as warmly as I was dressed, I still froze my toes off in half an hour!  Nevertheless, it was sort of nice to see snow! More later.....

Hope you all had a great weekend :)

slice of heaven

OK, I'm the worst blogger! I haven't posted in over a week, and I apologize!!

I always love looking through old photos because they really help me remember events, places, people and feelings. It allows me to look back, and place myself in the moment when the picture was taken, and suddenly the memories start flooding back.  As I peruse through my photos, I realize I forgot to share these ones with you! Taken a while ago, in a small town very dear to my husband's family, where everyone gets together, plays games, laughs, cries, and makes hundreds of memories. It's their little slice of heaven.  Dedicated to the MacPhersons xo :)
