Or like they call it, Camp Cooch.

My husband's family is ginormous. He's the oldest of 16 grandchildren on the MacPherson side.  I know all the immediate family members (ie. his father's brothers and sisters, their children, their pets, the occasional in-law). How could I forget? I spend hours memorizing all their names before I even met them so that I wouldn't be overwhelmed, but beyond that, all the names start to escape me.  I'm getting better though.  I seriously think I need to make a family tree and study from that.  With photos attached.

Anywho, I swear at one point in all their lives, each one of them has gone to camp cooch (or so it seems). I never went to camp as a kid.  But it has now become a family tradition that every other year or so, the entire family gathers at this camp and spends the weekend doing camp things.  Baseball, volleyball, high ropes, arts and crafts, camp fires etc. However, I don't think the 5pm happy hour was around back in the day.  Anyway, its always a great weekend.  And I always leave with a heightened sense of "family togetherness."

So here are some photos of the camp.  I didn't include those of the family since I didn't think they'd approve of having their faces on the internet.  So you can imagine them :) hah!
Oh! and there's too many photos, so this will be one of two posts!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!!!
